One misty moisty morning

There were 27 different kinds of apples at farmers market today.

    I was there too yesterday morning with my daughter. Last two weeks Kimball has had Wickson, long one of my favorite apples but very rare to see at retail. My kids ate a huge number last week. They also had Ashmead’s Kernel and Spitzenberg, among other rare apples. Impressive!

      It has been a bumper year for Ashmead's! Three of my five three-star varieties there yesterday.
