I wish. At some markets there are bins of apples labelled 'orchard run'. I bought some last week and was sorely disappointed when I found them to be soft and mealy. I suspect that they are from last year. Our local apple (and pear) crop is non-existent as we had a late, hard frost. What few apples there are on trees are all full of maggots and scab. It's a sad situation this year.
