Massachusetts dreamin'

Pink apple buds unfurl

Is it too soon to hope
On this chilly wet day in early May
For the sun, and a bountiful harvest

Is it too soon to long
For that warm day in July
When the first apples come
and the harvest begins?

Pink apple buds unfurl beneath a gray sky

    1. This is just a volunteer crabapple that has taken root in a sort of hedge between my house & my neighbor's. No regular apple blossoms yet afaik.

  3. My trees are only now signs of life. It was a cold wet April in south western Ontario but May should bring warmth.
Sorry to hear about the snow @Solbergarosen.
@SkillCult thanks for videos on late blooming apples -- I think you have me sold on trying Court Pendu Plat.
