These apples are grafted, so there is really no doubt about that here.

Behold the Calville Blanc D'Hiver.

The blossoms at left, courtesy of the farmer, were photographed a week ago now. Let's hope they have since been visited by pollinators.

Then with the blessing we may see something like my photo at right next fall.
