The weather has turned brisk, as it does in November, and the sun is low in the sky during those times when it is up at all.

At farmers market, there are still 12 varieties available, a right good assortment.

The November weather was brisk at farmers market this afternoon.

Not thin on the ground, exactly, but getting there.

It's a reminder to stock up on the fruit you'll be eating in December and maybe later—or else be at the mercy of the produce department of your local market.

Winter is coming!
