The wet and chilly end of things

The last outdoor market of the year ended in rain and slush in Davis Square, Somerville, earlier today.

The outdoor markets here end the day before Thanksgiving. Today's farewell was as cold and bedraggled as it looks in my photo, with some vendors absent and others set to pack up early in the face of a snowy forecast.

Nonetheless there were 9 kinds of apples for sale at the Davis Square market earlier today, including some little Ladies that I was glad to get.

Best wishes from me and a happy Thanksgiving to all.
