Hundreds of apples

A large pile of apples spilling out of an open wooden pen

Excuse me, but I am closing in on a minor milestone: 300 unique apples reviewed on this site.

So far this year I have had, I think, 11 varieties for the first time, with a few more in the wings.

That may not be gangbusters, exactly, but is still moderately encouraging after 2018's bust year of just 3 new varieties.

Will there be more? Stay tuned!

Thanks to MGosv1830 for making this image available.

  4. Adam, I've been on Orange Pippin about 6 years. Your site is really clean, accessible with generally accurate photographs.Descriptions are thoroughly delightful. Is embedding links to your photos appropriate or should I download the photo and embed that way?.

    1. Hello, Gill. That is an impressive list of budwod you have there!

I am pretty territorial about my photos, if you are talking about using them on another website such as Orange Pippin. We should discuss this offline. I have sent you a note at your contact email; if this misfires, please write to me at mine.

  5. Belated congratulations. 300 is an achievement. I’m still adding apple varieties to the Sage Hen Farm orchard, and I do come back to this site to check on reviews of potential new acquisitions.
