These are some of the Cox's Orange Pippins that I picked this month.
By now, some of my hoard have been eaten, some have become gifts, and the rest are wrapped in newsprint in perforated plastic bags in my refrigerator.

An amateur explores the pomaceous fruit
I just picked some of these last weekend, and I’ve been happily crunching on them (several a day!). Sweet and tangy, juicy and crunchy…these are simply delicious!
