Too rich for my blood

Spotted recently:

Apples in a wicker bin with a sign that reads "Cortland, $6.95 lb."
A specialty shop is asking $6.95 per pound for Cortlands. ¶

I'll pass, mate.

Cortland is a perfectly good apple, Ben Davis x McIntosh.

It's available for as little as $0.99/lb. in supermarkets.
