There's not as much nuance to the flavor profile as I've had in some apples (thinking about the cinnamon in the Lady Alice) but this at present is my "I'd like an apple please" apple for it's representation of apples. There may be better, fancier apples, but so what, one doesn't skip In-N-Out burgers just because some Michelin restaurant managed to make some artsy Wagyu deconstruction Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647355176632077968.post-85451999276447034112024-03-19T19:31:40.074-04:002024-03-19T19:31:40.074-04:00My store recently started selling these and I gott...My store recently started selling these and I gotta say, they’re quickly becoming my favorite Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647355176632077968.post-30461619212577153772021-03-20T11:01:52.493-04:002021-03-20T11:01:52.493-04:00It's a quality I've sometimes noticed in w...It's a quality I've sometimes noticed in watercored apples (which my SugarBees were not).Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06245776593991049317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647355176632077968.post-49978845232222536762021-03-20T10:32:27.784-04:002021-03-20T10:32:27.784-04:00Agree on the "alcoholic" vibes - first t...Agree on the "alcoholic" vibes - first thing I noticed - quite unique for an apple, in my opinion. Although I've definitely enjoyed sweeter apples than the SugarBee.meluvcheese22https://www.blogger.com/profile/05758082771704431615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647355176632077968.post-85477436730780090342021-01-02T15:10:09.863-05:002021-01-02T15:10:09.863-05:00Had one recently liked the ginger noteHad one recently liked the ginger noteAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16561053722935701099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647355176632077968.post-61521514915660558092019-02-27T22:33:28.386-05:002019-02-27T22:33:28.386-05:00@Karin, they are pretty sweet. Decided to buy a couple even though I was worried about just how sweet this thing would be. First bite had a nice tart quality to it, not as sugary as I had expected and I very much like that floral aroma. It's a great apple in an arugula salad. Would love to try one off the tree, but I doubt we'll get them that fresh here.Karinnoreply@blogger.com
